| Website Upgrade! |
Our website has received a facelift and it's going under a new name ... Camp-California.com!
It still contains information on nearly 400 California RV parks & campgrounds, regional visitor information ... lots of great stuff!
In addition, the "Find a Park" search has exciting new features:
Know WHERE you want to VISIT?
... Disneyland, Yosemite, or the Redwoods? Simply put your choice in the "Search by Landmark" field ... and you can define how many miles away you're willing to stay.
Know WHICH PARK you want to go to?
It's easy! Just put the beginning of their name in the "Campground Name" field. If you're not getting what you want, try putting their city in the landmark field.
Know WHEN you want TO GO?
This exciting new feature allows you to put in dates, and you'll get a list of all the parks that have sites available. If you want to stay in a particular area, be sure to put data in the region or landmark fields. Other parks may have site availability, but they aren't participating in our online reservation program, so you'll have to check with them directly. Search now>>
Know WHAT YOU NEED in a site/park?
Use the amentity/lifestyle preferences at the bottom of the search page. You can click as many items on all five tabs to get the perfect park. If your search produces "no results", try again and remove some of your restrictions.
When you get a list of results, notice the 2 tabs at the top .... List & Map.
List - this is a list of parks that meet your criteria with those that offer online reservations at the top. To sort the list alphabetically, just click on "campground name" in the header
Map - this exciting new feature will show you where the parks are located on a map. This can really help you zoom in on the location you want!
Watch future emails for more details!
